She was also diagnosed with Lupus and APS at the young age of 15. Her uncle already lost his life to this vicious disease.

Systemic lupus erythematosus, often abbreviated as SLE or lupus, is a systemic autoimmune disease that can affect any part of the body.

Childhood systemic lupus erythematosus generally presents between the ages of 3 and 15, with girls outnumbering boys 4:1.

She is living proof that you can live well with a chronic illness even if it means living differently.

    I am glad that these celebrities talk about their diseases, it brings more awareness for the rest of us and it helps people to understand these diseases better. I been living with diabetes for the last 25 years. I do best when we visit Europe, my blood sugar is mostly normal there, as soon as we come back and I start eating our foods, it goes up again. The foods we produce here, have too many kinds of sugar and additives. Why can’t we produce foods with less sugar and additives it would help the obesity here in our America.
