2. She Attends Brown University

She enrolled in the prestigious Brown University in the US but dropped out to film the Harry Potter movies; she then enrolled in Oxford University in England but again dropped out due to her acting demands. Today, she’s re-enrolled in Brown again, and has put acting on hold, in order to finish her English degree. You go, girl!

Since leaving school, she’s wanted to come back to class and get an English degree, but that has been postponed due to the demanding filming schedule for the Harry Potter franchise. Watson first took a gap year to act in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. She said that she definitely wanted to go to university.

The Providence Journal reported that Emma Watson was admitted to Ivy League Brown University, in Providence, Rhode Island. After 18 months at the university, she stated she wanted to defer a semester or two, so she became a visitor student at Worcester College, Oxford. In March 2014, Watson stated that she plans to graduate from Brown at the end of semester in May 2014. We are soon to see her graduate, and we have no doubts she might even have 4.0 GPA.

As she finishes Brown, she will join such eloquent and well-educated stars as Natalie Portman, Carrie Underwood, or Kate Beckinsale who have degrees. Although, she wasn’t quite happy with the idea to go to college, as it would interfere with her time on set, and she’s made up her mind to expand her knowledge in academia.

Nonetheless, she will return to filming and all the producers would be waiting for the talented young actress. She said “I have felt for the last 10 years I have had this battle; I’ve been fighting so hard to have an education.”

“It’s been this uphill struggle. I was Warner Bros.’ pain in the butt. I was their scheduling conflict. I was the one who made life difficult.”
