Lamar Odom, besides being one of the most undervalued NBA players in the last two decades, is also a guy who has had troubles with drugs and who, for the most part, has had everyone on his side. It was obvious he tried really hard to pull his life together and most of us were cheering for him.
And as it so often goes, we received constant negatively-tinted reports of Lamar’s faltering and setbacks on this journey. There is always a story there and the public loves those stories.
