Many celebrities have their unique way of celebrating one thing or another. Even though the most common one is getting blackout drunk, Taylor Swift has chosen something else. Yesterday she cut off her long locks.
The music superstar ended her year-long world tour called Red Tour at O2 Arena in London. After her final show, fans were quite surprised to see her new hairdo on her Instagram page.
“London, I could never thank you enough. See you next time! PS: short hair, don’t care,” was the caption of the photo she took with her special guest Ellie Goulding, who performed “Burn” onstage with the British singer.
Just before the haircut, a new video of Taylor with a large group of her colleagues appeared, in which she says, “We don’t do anything without an audience, do we?”
Among others, her chopping ceremony was attended by Goulding, supermodel Cara Delvingne and her ex Harry Styles. Harry, don’t you think it’s a little silly to show up at your ex-girlfriend’s hairdo makeover?
Nevertheless her recent tweet, “Sitting backstage at the O2 in London, thinking about what an impressive and extraordinary life Shirley Temple led. Thanks for the memories,” started rumors that her short cut was inspired by Temple herself, who died on Monday, 10 February.
