Everyone’s got a collection of their favorite childhood movies, from Home Alone to The Goonies, and everything in between. Some of those stars went on to other things, but what do we know about them?

Let’s take a look at some of those young stars and see what they are up to now.

1. Macaulay Culkin

He’s everyone’s favorite on-screen prankster and burglars across the globe are fearful of being trapped in a house with him. Caulkin seems to have given up on the movie industry and considers himself retired after his last appearance in 2009. Culkin was born in Manhattan on August 26, 1980 and he was the third of seven children, five boys and two girls.

His father, Christopher Cornelius “Kit” Culkin, is a former actor known for his productions on Broadway. So, young Macaulay started acting at a very young age. He was only four when he shot his first commercial.

He first withdrew from acting in 1995 but made a comeback in 2001 and since then he was in several movies.

Many attributed his drastic change in looks to bad habits like drug and alcohol abuse but Macaulay had this to say about these accusations: “Contrary to popular belief, I’ve never been to rehab. I’ve never been to jail, never been arrested. All the child-star clichés. I’ve tried very hard to avoid them all.”

His acting in Home Alone in 1990, earned him a Golden Globe for the Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Comedy/Musical. He also won one and was nominated for two other MTV movie awards.

In 1998, the actor known for his role in Richey Rich, married an actress, Rachel Miner, but got a divorce in 2000, since Rachel wanted kids, and the troubled star wanted to pursue his carrier. He’s also been in an 8-year relationship with Mila Kunis, and is now marrying a singer, some years after the split with Mila. Although Richey Rich (1994) was his last feature, he returned on the big screen in 2001, appearing in a London production of “Madame Melville”, followed by Michael Alig in Party Monster (2003).

The kid is so loaded, his estimated fortune is $17 million. He could spend the rest of his life blowing money, and do practically nothing if he wished.
