3. Haley Joel Osment

Who can forget Haley’s Oscar worthy performance in The Sixth Sense? Unfortunately, his career took a turn for the worse when in 2006 he flipped his car and was charged with being under the influence of drugs. Not to worry though, he went back to college and has his own role in the upcoming Wake the Dead series.

The legendary kid that said “I see dead people” in 1999’s “The Sixth Sense” has been very productive when it comes to acting. Osment apeared in almost 60 movies and TV shows, thus far, and was nominated for Oscar. He received 23 other wins and 21 nominations.

Osment was just 4 years old when he started out in the biz, first appearing in a Pizza Hut commercial. (So adorable!) Forest Gump, Texas Ranger, Sixth Sense, A.I., etc.

Haley Joel Osment, who’s now 26, has decided to settle from his once problematic life, and start filming. Not only that, he’s set for a lot of future projects, he’s producing some, as well.

Osment recently filmed a Web-series pilot, “Alpha House,” with John Goodman, but quickly moved on. His recent notable appearances include the drama “The World Made Straight” co-starring Jeremy Irvine and Minka Kelly, from “The Roommate”. The movie deals with the topics of American Civil War.

Last year, Osment appeared in a few small films, including “Sassy Pants” and “Misadventures of the Dunderheads.”

Having filmed “Sixth Sense”, followed by “A.I. Artificial Intelligence,” “Pay It Forward,” and “Secondhand Lions,” Osment started having drug-related issues, which culminated in his 2006 arrest on DUI and marijuana charges.

It seems the kid star has come to his senses. He showed up in alongside John Leguizamo and Cedric the Entertainer in the 2008 Broadway revamp of “American Buffalo”. He was also successful as a student, as he and graduated from NYU’s School of the Arts in 2010.
