Actor Alfie Allen threw out his pop singer sister Lily Allen’s claim that she was offered an incestuous role on the hit fantasy series Game of Thrones.

Last month, the singer said she was offered a cameo opposite her sibling, Alfie, who portrays Theon Greyjoy in the hit TV show. She said she turned the role down after discovering the pair should be intimate on camera.

She said, “They asked me if I’d be interested in playing Theon’s sister, and I felt uncomfortable because I would have had to go on a horse and he would have touched me up and s**t. Once they told me what was entailed, I said no thanks.”

Her brother dismissed her claims, insisting actress Gemma Whelan was always considered for the part.

He told Vulture magazine, “I heard about this, yeah. The only thing I’m going to say on that is that it’s not true. And also that Gemma Whelan was always their first choice for the part. And she’s fantastic. And that’s the only thing I’m going to say about that.”

On May 13, Lily answered the public’s questions on Reddit’s Ask Me Anything forum. One person made a joke about a song on her first album, Alfie, in which she implored her younger brother to “get a job because the bills need to get paid”, writing: “How did you feel when you told Alfie to get a job and he immediately went and got a job on the coolest show on tv?”

She replied, “Well, that was about a five year disparity between the two!

But I’ve been asked to do a Game of Thrones cameo, they asked me if I’d be interested in playing Theon’s sister [Yara], and I felt uncomfortable because I would have had to go on a horse and he would have touched me up and s—. Once they told me what was entailed, I said no thanks. I would be open to doing a musical cameo like Sigur Ros, though.”
