The 28-year-old troubled actress Amanda Bynes will reportedly spend one year in involuntary confinement. According to TMZ, she is heading for another conservatorship – but this time her parents won’t be in charge.

Sources told the site that her doctors are trying to get the conservatorship.

‘’The plan is to get an LPS Hold, something a judge will grant at the behest of doctors but only if the patient is ‘gravely disabled as a result of a mental disorder or impairment by chronic alcoholism.’’’

The LPS Hold allows doctors to confine her and give her medications without her consent.

Amanda is also infuriated at her parents because she says she was tricked into getting committed into psychiatric care. Sources tell TMZ that Amanda feels her relationship with her parents has been ‘destroyed forever.’

She was taken to the hospital on Friday after she arrived at The London Hotel in Los Angeles, to find both her parents and her lawyer waiting for her. The actress was put under a 5150 psychiatric hold for 72 hours that will now be extended for a further 14 days.
