After Johnny Depp and wife Amber Heard apologized to Australia for smuggling their two Yorkshire terriers Pistol and Boo in the country in 2015, the Internet didn’t fail to notice that the two celebrities looked like they were filming the video while someone was pointing a gun at them.

Now, even Australian Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce, the man who threatened to kill their dogs and publicized the entire situation, has mocked the couple’s ‘odd’ apology video. Namely, Joyce said that Deep seemed like he was ‘auditioning for the Godfather,’ concluding that the actor won’t win an Oscar for his poor performance in the video.

However, he did point out that the only thing that’s important at the moment is that millions of people worldwide have watched the video and got the message that they have to obey Australian laws when they enter the country.

In another interview on Channel 7, Joyce again poked fun at the clip, telling Johnny to ‘do it again, do it with gusto mate, a little gusto.’ He also added that he was not the director of ‘this atrocious video,’ stating that if he had been the director, he could have done much better. Ouch.
