There are a lot of celebrities out there who definitely agree that age is just a number. Although many people consider relationships with huge age gaps to be gross, a lot of famous people don’t seem to be bothered by the age difference between them and their partners.
Here’s a list of 21 famous couples with a crazy age gap:
Sir Ben Kingsley is one of the greatest actors of our time. He has received countless awards during his long-lasting career, including an Academy Award, BAFTA, two Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild awards.
He won an Academy Award for Best Actor for his brilliant portrayal of Mohandas Gandhi in the film ‘’Gandhi.’’ His other notable films include ‘’Schindler’s List’’, ‘’Sexy Beast’’, ‘’Shutter Island’’, ‘’Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time’’, ‘’Hugo’’, and ‘’Iron Man 3.’’
He was made a Knight Bachelor by Queen Elizabeth II and also honoured with a place on the Hollywood Walk and Fame.
Kingsley has been married four times and has four children. He married his current wife Daniela Lavender in 2007 in Oxfordshire. Lavender is a Brazilian actress and she is 31 years younger than her husband. The couple had been dating for a year after mutual friends introduced them in Hollywood.
Sir Ben Kingsley doesn’t seem to be bothered by their age difference. “It is a perfectly balanced relationship, which like scales, includes its swings,” he said.
“Without sounding pompous, she looks like a combination of ancient Egypt and ancient Rome. I love mythology and Shakespeare and so does she. We have that connection. She has that deep appreciation for ancient mythology. She embodies it, which is so attractive.”
And his beautiful young wife seems to agree.
‘’The sexual chemistry is very active. I don’t live with the Ben Kingsley of 10 years ago; I was very attracted to this Ben from the moment we met.‘’
‘’It’s not that I don’t know about the ex-wives. But Baba [her pet name for him] fell in love with me, and I fell in love with him. That’s the thing, isn’t it?’’
