11. Robert Duvall and Luciana Pedraza
Actor Robert Duval has performed in some of the most critically acclaimed movies of all times, among them ‘’Apocalypse Now’’ and ‘’Godfather.’’
Other notable films and TV shows in which he appeared include ‘’To Kill a Mockingbird’’, ‘’The Twilight Zone’’, ‘’True Grit’’, ‘’Joe Kidd’’, ‘’Lonesome Dove’’, ‘’The Apostle’’ and ‘’Tender Mercies.’’
The 83-year-old actor has won an Academy Award for his performance in ‘’Tender Mercies’’, a BAFTA, two Emmy Awards and four Golden Globe Awards during his long-lasting career. In addition, he was nominated six times for an Academy Award.
Duvall has been married four times. His current wife is Luciana Pedraza, the granddaughter of Argentine aviator pioneer Susana Ferrari Billinghurst. Interestingly enough, both Duvall and Pedraza were born on January 5. However, the age difference between the couple is 41 years!
“The age difference has never bothered her. We go everywhere and do everything together. It’s like we’ve always known each other.”
Duvall met Pedraza in Argentina and thinks they were destined to meet each other.
‘’The flower shop was closed, so I went to the bakery. If the flower shop had been open, I never would have met her.’’
“I had been to Buenos Aires many times. I love the city, and I’ve seen a lot of pretty women there. But she was something special. We clicked right away.”

They have been dating since 1997 and got married in 2005. Duvall and Pedraza acted together in the movie ‘’Assassination Tango,’’ which was mostly shot in Buenos Aires.
Duvall said a friend once told him that the worst thing in the world for an old man was an old woman. Apparently, the famous actor listened to his friend’s advice.
Duvall said his beautiful young wife helped him feel young and in shape.
“My wife has got me doing yoga,” he said. “But if you marry a younger woman, it helps.”
