Looks like the BBC is finally getting ready to relaunch one of it’s most popular show’s, “Top Gear,” without popular host Jeremy Clarkson.

According to the British broadcaster, they have tapped American actor Matt LeBlanc to be one of the host’s co-hosts. Yes, Joey from “Friends” is going to be on “Top Gear” now. He is going to be joining popular radio host Chris Evans, who was announced last year as the show’s host.

LeBlanc is going to be the first non-British host in the show’s 40 year history. And while a lot of people might be surprised with the decision, those people probably don’t know that LeBlanc is a serious car-head and has been for a very long time.

It should be a great new chapter for his career, and it can’t hurt “Top Gear” either, considering he’s an internationally known television personality that was a star on one of the biggest sitcoms in history.
