Singer/actress Jennifer Lopez is a single girl once again. Even though her relationship with dancer boyfriend, who looks much like her ex-husband Marc Anthony, seemed to be steady and loving, the two are not an item anymore.
According to TMZ.com, the 44-year old singer and her 27-year old ex-boyfriend have called it quits after two-and-a-half years. It is reported that the break up was amicable and the ex-lovers will remain good friends. However, they grew apart and decided to wrap it.
According to Daily News, the decision came a few months ago.
Casper has been under the fire in recent days as it was alleged the dancer was seeing a transgender woman he met through photo sharing website Instragram.com. However, according to TMZ.com’s reports, it was not the reason for their break up.
An insider said, “Casper has been a single guy and can text or see whoever he wants, but the idea that he was knowingly texting a transsexual is laughable.”
“He’s not that guy.”
However, the two were seen holding hands on May 21, when they were pictures leaving a restaurant, Craig’s, in West Hollywood. A week later, they hit Laguna Beach, California together.
More on J. Lo news, she was performing for the first time in her native Bronx on June 4. Addressing the audience, the singer said, “This is such an amazing moment for me. I am so happy to be home. Doing this tonight is honestly a dream come true for me,” Lopez told the crowd three songs in as the sun set on the packed park. She peered out to the crowd of 20,000 and added, “Let me see ya — where my Latinos at? That’s right, we in here!”
