Actor Shia LaBeouf interrupted a Thursday night performance of “Cabaret”, starring Michelle Williams and Alan Cumming, according to cops and sources.
The “Transformers” star was “acting up” as he drunkenly smoked cigarettes inside Studio 54, grabbed the behinds of several actors, and even threatened policemen before he was taken away at intermission.
“He’s cursing. He’s jabbering away. He won’t shut up,” a police source said.
“Just saw Shia LaBeouf in handcuffs in tears surrounded by 6 police officers outside of CABARET the musical …” tweeted composer Benj Pasek.
LaBeouf started his rowdy night with cocktails at the Iguana Club.
“He was sitting there s—-faced. He had been drinking all day,” said John Sobel. “I thought he was acting for some bizarre YouTube video. There was a guy sitting directly across from him filming him on his phone.”
According to sources, he made his way to the theater for the 7 p.m. performance, and soon made a spectacle of himself.
A source said he was waving his arms wildly, shouting lascivious comments , and even dared to grab Cumming’s derriere.
“He said something like ‘F— you. I will f— you up,’” sources said.
The diva was dragged down to the stationhouse, where he kept up with his childish behavior as he was being fingerprinted.
“He was very angry,” a source said.
He was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass and was being held overnight. A rep for LeBeouf did not return requests for comment.
