Lindsay Lohan’s parents claim the actress and TV personality is feeling ‘fine’ after she had revealed she suffered a miscarriage during the making of her reality TV show.
She surprised the audience on Sunday, April 20, during the last episode of her eight-part series Lindsay. It aired on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network.
She explained her break of two weeks, “No one knows this – I had a miscarriage for those two weeks that I took off. That’s why on the show when it says, ‘She doesn’t want to come down’, I couldn’t move, I was sick. Mentally, that messes with you.”
She never told the father’s name, saying only it was “a very long story.”
Now her mother, Dina, tells the New York Daily News that her daughter is “fine”, and her dad Michael added, “It’s a private family matter, but she’s doing fantastic. She’s doing very well.”
Sharon Osbourne, a rock matriarch, thinks the story is false. During her daytime show The Talk, on Monday, April 21, Sharon said, “I think she probably had diarrhea or something. I don’t believe she had a miscarriage, I believe she’s quite confused and I’ve had enough of watching her trying to make her life better… Everybody uses that (miscarriage) as an excuse. What a load of old codswallop (utter nonsense)!”
Offering up some sage advice to Lohan, who completed a court-ordered stay in rehab last summer (13), she added, “Nix the drinking, dear, nix the partying, love, stay home!”
