O’Donnell Explains Tweet About Lohan

Rosie O’Donnell has explained her comments about Lindsay Lohan’s show. She said her reality TV show as “tragedy”, insisting she has nothing but “compassion” for the troubled star.

Rosie was only one of the celebrity names who tuned in to watch Lohan’s self-titled show on Oprah Winfrey OWN network.

She expressed her shock for the actress’ chaotic life.

She took to Twitter.com to say, “The Lindsay show is a tragedy – on every level. I hope one day she gets sober for real and watches these episodes – n (and) sees what we all do.” The tweet provoked Lohan who hit back by saying her comments were “really sad.”

Rosie now explains her intention on her blog.

She writes, “I watched only one episode, LL (Lindsay Lohan) looking lost – late for work again and again scared suffering – surrounded by sycophants.

We r (are) asked to watch but not see what is right in front of r (our) eyes to nod in complicity as everyone braces for impact.”

“I tweeted the show was a tragedy ‘an event causing great suffering, destruction, and distress’ that’s what it felt like to me start to finish (sic).”

I wish only for Lindsay’s healing for sobriety that will serve her so for a calming of all demons that plague her for stillness inside her soul.”

“I have compassion for the little girl I see beneath the designer duds (clothes), one that could use a safe place to land maybe for the first time in her life.”

Lohan’s series had an explosive end on Sunday, April 20, when she talked about her miscarriage she suffered during the making of the series.
