Pharrell And Thicke Will Have To Pay Up

The year 2013 in music was marked by the Robin Thicke and Pharrell’s insanely popular and rapey song Blurred Lines.
It was huge and the two artists made quite a few bucks off the song.
Well, it seems that they are going to have to hand over most of that money ($7.3 million to be precise) to Marvin Gaye’s estate which has finally managed to prove it once and for all that the 2013 hit is a very blatant copy of Got to Give It Up, Gaye’s classic from 1977.
