We all know that comedian Ricky Gervais has practically made a career out of making fun of celebrities. That’s why he gets to host the Golden Globes, because people love to laugh at celebrities.
He made a joke during this weekend’s Golden Globes about Caitlyn Jenner that caused quite an uproar on social media. We won’t spoil it for you, but it was related to Jenner’s run in with the law and the fact that she was not charged for vehicular manslaughter.
Many people claim that they were offended by the joke and are calling on Gervais to apologize. But he has no intention of doing so. He tweeted that assuming a joke about Jenner is transphobic regardless of what the joke was is like saying all jokes about Bill Cosby are racist. What do you think? Did he cross the line?
