Apart from the performances, MTV’s Video Music Awards are a place where celebrities try to outshine each other every year when it comes to fashion.
The VMAs red carpet calls for extravagant styles, and although there were a few disappointments, the stars really outdid themselves this year.
Surprisingly, Niki Minaj kep things pretty decent in a long-sleeve, python print dress, before opening the show alongside Ariana Grande and Jessie J and suffering a wardrobe malfunction.

Audiences around the world also liked Iggy Azaela’s metallic long dress and Rita Ora’s red silk gown.
Finally, Beyonce looked flawless in a black transparent gown.

The biggest failure was definitely Amber Rose who showed up in a nearly identical nude dress to the one Rose McGowan wore to the 1998 VMAs.
