Sasha Pieterse is an American actress originally from South Africa. She is best known as the youngest cast member of Pretty Little Liars, where she played Alison DiLaurentis. The show was very successful so naturally Sasha started getting offers as soon as it was over. She starred in Geek Charming on Disney Channel and in 2013 she starred in the movie G.B.F.
Pieterse was born in Johannesburg in 1996. Her parents were an internationally-renowned acrobatic duo so showbiz was always a big part of her life. The family moved to United States when Sasha was only three years old. Her parents had a gig in Las Vegas so she spent a great part of her childhood there, before moving to Los Angeles. She was home-schooled and graduated at 14.
She has been doing commercials since she was four years old and later she also did some modelling. Her first TV role was in the series Family Affair but her real breakthrough came with Pretty Little Liars in 2009.
