The Palins want you to think they’re typical Americans, and that they have more in common with normal people than other celebrity families – but the problem is that moose hunting and Alaska-governing aren’t things average folks do. We can’t remember when was the last time we saw a moose, let alone hunted one.
Also, it might not be that weird for some people, but the Palin family is strongly dominated, headed, and led by the wife and not the husband. Although traditional patriarchy has died in numerous American families, it’s just as uncommon to see a family based on matriarchy. Well, the Palins don’t have a problem with this, seeing as Sarah Palin is a famous politician – if she can cope with all the political fuzz with such ease, taking care of her family probably seems like a walk in the park.
