6. Sarah Ferguson

She used her continuing friendship with Prince Andrew after their marriage ended to sell access to him for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Sarah Margaret Ferguson is a daughter of Major Ronald Ferguson and his first wife, Susan Mary Wright.

She attended Daneshill School, Stratfield Turgis and then Hurst Lodge School, Ascot and after finishing a course at Queen’s Secretarial College, at the age of eighteen, she moved to London

There she worked in a public relations firm and later  an art gallery, and then a publishing company.

Prince Andrew, Duke of York a British prince, the second son and third child of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh had known Ferguson since childhood.

They met occasionally at polo matches, but the event that sealed the deal, sort of speak, was the Royal Ascot, one of Europe’s most famous race meetings, in 1985.

Just one year later On 17 March 1986, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson announced their engagement and only five years later the marriage was already in trouble and the couple divorced in 1991.

In May 2010, Sarah was filmed by News of the World offering access to Prince Andrew for £500,000 by Mazher Mahmood, an undercover reporter posing as an Indian businessman.
