B.o.B Claims Earth is Flat, Neil DeGrasse Tyson Responds

1

It’s been more than 500 years since science discovered that you will not fall off the edge of the world if you go west in your galley for too long. Despite this well-known fact, however, some people apparently haven’t heard of science, which often results in them having their own understanding of the world. B.o.B is one of them.

Here’s how one rather silly Twitter argument began yesterday:

A lot of people are turned off by the phrase “flat earth” … but there’s no way u can see all the evidence and not know… grow up

And then came the replies, a myriad of posts with actual scientific evidence that the Earth is, indeed, not flat. B.o.B disregarded all of this as “force-fed information” and hardheadedly stood his ground. However, once Neil DeGrasse Tyson got a whiff of the situation, he decided something needed to be done.

That also failed. Here’s how the famous astrophysicist tried to “make peace” with B.o.B:

@bobatl Duude — to be clear: Being five centuries regressed in your reasoning doesn’t mean we all can’t still like your music

B.o.B responded by releasing a diss track of heliocentrism titled “Flatline,” believe it or not. Not very mature, but whatever works for you, B.o.B.
