Beyoncé Tops Forbes Top-Earning Women In Music List

Beyoncé is the highest paid woman in music in 2014 with an estimated income of $115 million, doubling her earnings from the year before.

Forbes reports that 2013-14 was “the biggest year of [Beyoncé’s] career”. Her self-titled album was a complete success, as well as live shows.

“Beyoncé played 95 shows during our scoring period, bringing in an average of $2.4 million per city.’’

Also, the singer earned a lot from sponsorship deals with brands such as Pepsi and H&M and other endorsements, including fragrance and clothing lines.

Taylor Swift was second on Forbes’ rich list with an estimated $64 million. Pink ($52m), Rihanna ($48m) and Katy Perry ($40m) ranked third, fourth and fifth on the list.

Forbes’s highest-earning female musician of 2013 was Madonna who failed to make the top 10 in 2014.
