Singer Chris Brown’s appeal for freedom has been denied, so the star will remain behind bars until June 2014.

Chris was arrested and jailed this March for being dismissed from a rehab facility where he was undergoing court-ordered anger management treatment. He has since been spending time in jail.

The judge has ruled the singer should stay in jail until the hearing which will take place in Washington, D.C.

The hearing was due to start this week, but it was postponed after Christopher Hollosy, Brown’s bodyguard, refused to testify.

Hollosy has previously been found guilty over assaulting 20-year old Parker Adams. The incident happened outside a hotel in 2013.

According to TMZ.com, Brown’s trial is now postponed until June. His legal representative has asked the judge who put him in jail to free him, but the judge refused.

As reported, the singer will be sent back to LA and will remain in jail until the hearing.

He is also facing four more years of prison in the final ruling of the assault is deemed a violation of probation, after the conviction in 2009, when he beat up his ex-girlfriend, singer Rihanna.

Some of you might remember that after his arrest, some commercial ads featuring the singer were suspended and his music was withdrawn from radio stations.

He also had to withdraw from any public appearances, including the 2009 Grammy Awards, when Justin Timberlake and Al Green replaced him.
