Chris Pratt Named One Of GQ’s Men Of The Year

The Cinema Society With Men's Fitness & FIJI Water Host A Screening Of "Guardians of the Galaxy"

Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt is featured on the cover of the latest issue of GQ Magazine and talks about getting in shape and having the urge to direct, among other things.

Although a lot of people thought he was too overweight to play Peter Quill/Star-Lord, after seeing his audition, director James Gunn had no problem with Pratt’s weight.  However, Pratt didn’t stay fat for long. He got ripped and said that he loves the challenge of it.

He also told GQ that he hopes to get behind the camera in the near future

“I’m always biting my tongue. When I’m on set, I kind of wish I could just tell everybody what to do. If I could tell everybody what to do, it would be great, and it would be done faster. And so that’s what I’m working toward. I want control. I want control over something. I have to get better at writing, because the stuff that I have written, no one bought. Maybe they’ll buy it now, because they can put my name on it, but I’d be in a bad movie that I wrote. So I just want to make sure that I stay working hard. I think I will. I hope I will.”

Chris wasn’t the only star featured in the magazine.  Ansel Elgort, Shailene Woodley, Dave Chappelle, Michael Sam and Steve Carell were displayed on the covers as well.
