First Plus Size Model In Sports Illustrated Is Gorgeous

This is surely one small victory for big and beautiful women, but one giant victory for mankind and the people who love girls with ample figures. There is finally a plus size model featured in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition.
The model’s name is Ashley Graham and she is a size 16. Her measurements are 36-30-46. Graham is no stranger to modeling work, she has already participated in campaigns for big brands such as Levi’s and Target. However, she is the first model that comes even close to being a “bigger girl” that has appeared in the famed Sports Illustrated edition, which is usually reserved for extra skinny super model types.
However, she is not really featured in the issue. She does appear within the magazine, however, she is appearing in an ad for bikinis made specifically with curvy girls in mind. Graham said that one day she hopes that Sports Illustrated will truly feature plus size models in the edition, but said that the ad is still a pretty good start.
