Pop star and a troubled lady Miley Cyrus has apologized to her audience in Charlotte, North Carolina after she had to cancel her concert because she went down with the flu.

The star had to cancel her concert at The Time Warner Cable Arena scheduled for Monday, April 7. She canceled the gig an hour before show time.

However, she returned to the stage in Raleigh, North Carolina on Tuesday, April 8. She also admitted she was still feeling sick and mourning the death of her dog named Floyd, who died on April 4.

She took to Twitter.com to announce on Wednesday, April 9, “Charlotte I really am so sorry I didn’t make it & Raleigh thank you for helping heal my physical and emotional pain.”

Wanting to help her in her sadness, her mother, Trish, gave her new pet, Moonie.

However, despite Moonie, Miley is still struggling with the loss of her beloved rescue dog and wondering if it was “too soon” to get another pet since she still has “so much love to give my Floydy.”

Miley took over Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Saturday, April 6 when she once again paid tribute to Floyd, by singing “Can’t Be Tamed” to a large replica of her late dog. That was a bit creepy.

That was the hardest song of the night to do. As yawl know, because I lost my Floydie this week…Sometimes I just can’t stop from breaking down crying,” Cyrus told the crowd. “But it’s so healing for me to be here with you.”

However, even with news that she is now the May cover girl of Elle magazine’s Women in Music issue, Miley is still telling fans that she’s in “excruciating pain,” and that even her other dog named Mary Jane, “misses Floyd too.”
