It appears that the Pittsburgh Pride, scheduled for this Saturday, will have a new headliner. Namely, after much controversy about Iggy Azalea performing for the LGBTQ+ community due to her homophobic tweets from 2011, the Australian rapper has decided to cancel her performance so she would not be an additional distraction from an important cause.

The young ‘Problem’ singer went on to apologize for her old tweets and expressed hope that they would not be considered representative of her character, as she believes in equality. The members of the LGBTQ+ community are not so convinced, and the question of why she waited four years to apologize still remains unanswered.

However, the Pride performance has been salvaged by Nick Jonas, the former Jonas Brothers frontman, who will replace Iggy on Saturday night. He is playing a gay boxer in a series titled ‘Kingdom’, and has a large number of fans among the LGBTQ+ community. Also, he wants to make the night memorable and enjoyable for all who will attend the Pittsburgh Pride. Mr. Jonas is proving to be a true gentleman, adding this classy move to all his previous philanthropic work.
