“The Revenant” Dominates Oscar Nominations

The nominations for the 88th Academy Awards have been announced and it looks like Leonardo DiCaprio might finally have a chance to get his much sought after Oscar. “The Revenant,” which the actor stars in, leads all movies with 12 Oscar nominations this year, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor.

The Oscar ceremony is only a little more than a month away. It will take place on Sunday, February 28 at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. The show is going to be hosted by comedian Chris Rock. This will be his second time hosting the Academy Awards. He previously hosted the show in 2005.

Much fuss has been made about DiCaprio still being Oscar-less. And while we are certain that the famed actor would not mind finally being recognized, he’s probably too busy sleeping with 20-year-old models to really lose much sleep over it, even if he loses again this year.
