Last month, celebrity superstar Johnny Depp and his fellow actress wife Amber Heard released an unbelievably awkward video in which they talked about Australia’s strict biosecurity laws, urging others to declare everything before entering the country. The couple issued the statement following a legal mess that ensued after their two tiny terriers Pistol and Boo entered Australia illegally.
If you haven’t already, check out the bizarre vid here:
Since both Depp and Heard looked like they were forced to read a prepared script in the videos, both other celebrities and their fans mocked the terrible clip. Even Australia’s Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce, who went as far as to threaten Depp and Heard that Australia would euthanize their pooches, mocked the video.
Now, Depp is making fun of it, too. While promoting his movie Alice through the Looking Glass, the A-lister didn’t fail to mention the doggy drama and his fake apology.
Here’s what he said:
“I’m going to do this everywhere I go. I would really like to apologize for not smuggling my dogs into England because it would have been a bad thing to do.”
