Everyone’s favorite Baywatch star, the charming and gorgeous Pamela Anderson contracted Hepatitis C when she shared a tattoo needle with her ex-husband Tommy Lee. Hepatitis C is a pretty nasty virus that results in the inflammation and scarring of the liver, which is a condition better known as cirrhosis. In roughly 20% of cases, the virus eventually leads to liver failure and death.
Anderson thinks that she doesn’t have much time left, and she has mentioned in various interviews how she feels like she will live to see about 10 years more of her life, perhaps 15 if she’s lucky enough. Although she is scared of the entire situation (who wouldn’t be?), she says that she’s been feeling awesome lately, and that, for some reason, her liver keeps getting healthier and healthier.
