Sometimes the paths that the children of famous people take are quite strange. You usually imagine them being spoiled children who live off their parents’ money, but that’s not always the case.
Paul Newman’s son Scott was actually homeless when he died. He usually slept on the floors of his friends’ apartments and was doing manual labor just to make ends meet. He ended up getting in a very bad motorcycle accident one day, but that was not the direct cause of his death. After the accident, he was obviously in extreme pain.
But instead of going to the hospital to get treated, he decided that he would try to numb the pain by drinking a lot of alcohol and washing down some Valium with the liquor. He ended up doing more drugs and one of his friends called the paramedics when he noticed that Scott’s breathing became irregular. But it was too late, he was already dead when the doctors arrived.
