Following her 23-year relationship with fellow actor and former Bull Durham co-star Tim Robbins (who is 12 years her junior, might we add), Hollywood legend Susan Sarandon fell in love with her business partner Jonathan Bricklin, a staggering 31 years her junior.
Even though she remained tight-lipped about her romance with Bricklin throughout the three years they were together, she was quick to stress that the age gap between them was meaningless. Here’s what she said:
“It’s the soul of a person that interests me. When you are in love, the question of age, sex, color no longer hold any importance.”
The Oscar-winning actress also claimed she was to blame for the cougar trend in Tinseltown because she referred to herself as a prowling cat when she started dating ex Tim Robbins more than 20 years ago. Moreover, she insisted that she didn’t mind being called a cougar and confirmed she enjoyed dating younger guys.
