Ben Stiller’s Mom Anne Meara Passes Away At 85
Everyone knows that Ben Stiller’s dad is the famous comedian Jerry Stiller, famous for his roles in Taking of Pelham 123 and Jerry Seinfeld, but it is only today that we learn Ben’s mom was also a famous actress – Anne Meara.
Unfortunately, we learn this for the worst possible reason. The actress and comedian has passed away at 85.
Anne’s career bloomed in the 1960s and she played roles in popular TV shows like All My Children and The Love Boat. In the 1990s, she had a role on Sex and the City and she appeared in King of Queens, marrying her real-life husband in one of the episodes.
Jerry and Anne were married for more than 60 years, marking theirs one of the longest Hollywood marriages of all time.
Her son and husband confirmed her passing to the Associated Press, but they did not provide any additional details.
