Didn’t Last Long: Big Sean Calls Off Engagement

Rapper Big Sean has called off his brief engagement to ‘Glee’ star, actress Naya Rivera.

A spokesman for ‘Mercy’ hit maker has officially confirmed that the two have split. Nevertheless, the representative also said the alleged infidelity of Sean’s is not to blame.

According to USMagazine.com, “After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off.”

The recent rumors and accusations (of infidelity) reported by so-called or fake sources are simply untrue.”

Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter.”

Previously, Rivera has revealed that the couple initially met through Twitter com. Reportedly, the two have exchanged messages and met in person, which resulted in their not-that-long romance and engagement.

In April 2013, the couple went public with their relationship and later in October, they announced their engagement, six months after going public with the romance.

The rapper thought his ex was “too controlling,” according to the gossip websites, and “too jealous” of other women. He reportedly made the decision to end their relationship “weeks ago.”

“Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter,” his representative said.

Big Sean used to date his high school girlfriend, Ashley Marie, from the time he was sixteen until their break-up in early 2013.
