Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx can now add “hero” to his resume. On Monday night, Foxx left his California home to investigate a loud noise he heard. What he saw was a truck that had crashed near his home, flipped over and was on fire.
Foxx and another man rushed out to see what was happening and they were able to drag the trapped diver out of the vehicle before it was completely engulfed in flames. On Tuesday, Foxx posted a picture on Instagram of the driver’s father, Brad Kyle, hugging the actor to thank him for saving his son.
The driver, 32-year-old Brett Kyle is alive because Foxx responded quickly and came to his aid. Kyle was apparently driving under the influence and he suffered a broken collarbone and punctured lung. But it could have been much worse, obviously. As you can see, the embrace between Foxx and the man whose son he saved was a very emotional one.
