Tanning Company UVASUN West Inc. is being sued by American singer, dancer and TV star Paula Abdul, after she allegedly burned her leg during a treatment.

Paula has filed a personal injury lawsuit against the executive of the tanning company that’s based in LA. She claims that she suffered fierce burns from the tanning treatment in 2012.

The Hollywood reporter exclaimed that Paula’s injury was due to an infrared body wrap treatment which was applied “negligently, carelessly and recklessly”, and that resulted in “severe and painful burns all over her body, with an especially severe second – or third – degree burns on a portion of the plaintiff’s left thigh.”

It was also stated that the injuries caused Paula “great mental, physical and nervous strain, pain and suffering”. She also mentioned the eventual loss of earnings when she was required to seek medical care.

According to Radar, the court documents additionally stated, “’Paula Abdul will lose additional income in the future and lose additional time in the future at plaintiff’s occupation and profession.”

The amount Abdul is suing for is expected to be more than $25,000.
