Even though he first said that he had not even seen the video, Odd Future rapper Earl Sweatshirt took to Twitter to say what he thought about the new video for Taylor Swift’s latest song “Shake it Off.”
The young rapper said that the country pop star is perpetuating black stereotypes in her new video.
He said that he doesn’t have to watch the video to know that it’s inherently offensive and ultimately harmful. The rapper added that the video perpetuates black stereotypes to a demographic of young people who hide their prejudice by proclaiming their love for the culture.

Shake it Off is the lead single off Swift’s new album 1989, which is coming out soon. And Swift has already been shaking off the haters who have been bashing her and the video.
