Producers of US TV cop series Rizzoli & Isles, decided to mention the death of cast-member Lee Thompson Young in upcoming episodes of the show.
Lee committed suicide last August and now, six months later, his TV fellas are to address his death and pay tribute in the first two episodes of the season five, this summer.
Angie Harmon, star of Rizzoli & Isles posted a tweet after the end of season four on Tuesday, writing “Hope you enjoyed (Rizzoli & Isles) season 4 finale. Season 5 eps (sic) 1&2 address our beloved Lee w/ (with) love, honour & respect.”

Young was a cast-member since the very beginning of the series in 2010.
“Everyone at Rizzoli & Isles is devastated by the news of the passing of Lee Thompson Young,” Tamaro, the creator of the series, said. “We are beyond heartbroken at the loss of this sweet, gentle, good-hearted, intelligent man. He was truly a member of our family. Lee will be cherished and remembered by all who knew and loved him, both on- and off-screen, for his positive energy, infectious smile and soulful grace. We send our deepest condolences and thoughts to his family, to his friends and, most especially, to his beloved mother.”
The fifth season is to be aired in the US on June 17th this year.
