Cee-Lo Green Blacklisted For Rape Comments

Cee Lo Green Court Appearance

Cee-Lo is continuing to pay for the comments about rape that he made on Twitter recently.

The famed singer pleaded no contest recently to supplying a woman with ecstasy in 2012 while having dinner with her. And in light of that legal procedure he tweeted the following:

“If someone is passed out they’re not even WITH you consciously. People who have really been raped REMEMBER!!! So if I TRIED but did NOT succeed but the person said I DID then what really happened?”

Naturally, this tweet upset a lot of people. And even though Green deleted it and apologized for the comments that he made, he is still feeling the aftermath of his actions. He was recently kicked off from the lineup of several festivals.

The last music festival to do so was the BayFest Music Festival in Mobile, Alabama. Organizers of the event said that the comments that Green made go against the beliefs of the festival, and that they decided to remove him from the lineup.
