Turns Out Katy Perry Is A Little Bit Country

We are probably not the biggest fans of Katy Perry here at CelebZen but we understand why she is one of the most popular celebrities out there. She knows her target market is all about three-chord tunes, lyrics about having fun but also being a strong girl and as many colors as you can cram in a square inch.
Well, Katy brought all of that to the ACM Awards this weekend and she definitely did not feel like fish out of water. She looked every bit the part on the red carpet in her retro country outfit and Peggy Bundy hair. She also presented an award.
More importantly, she joined Dolly Parton on stage for 9 to 5 and Jolene. We are not sure what the country crowd thought of her performance and her presence at the ACMs in general but we’re pretty sure there is a coked out produced somewhere dreaming of a Katy Perry country album.
