Adele Shows Support For Kesha At Brit Awards

It’s no surprise that Adele walked out of the Brit Awards last night with the award for the Best Female Solo Artist.
However, her speech might have surprised people. She used her moment at the podium to show support for fellow pop songstress Kesha, who is going through a tough legal battle with her producer Dr. Luke.
After thanking her fans and everyone else, Adele said that she would like to take the moment to show her public support for Kesha.
As most everyone knows, Kesha has been entangled in a lawsuit with producer Dr. Luke, who is also her manager. She asked to be released from her contract and even accused Dr. Luke of emotional and sexual abuse.
However, the courts have denied her request. Another huge pop star showed her support for Kesha recently, Taylor Swift donated $250,000 to her cause. However, according to a Buzzfeed article, many big name pop stars and celebrities are choosing not to get involved or even comment on Kesha’s case.
